~Tapas Sarkar
For years after years you are silent
In that tranquil place,
I wonder how peacefully you are sitting
Under that lonely tree!
All those hopeful creatures
Who knew about you climbed the mountain on the other day,
Only those who had little homes and little taste to live
Are late to take their decisions’ must,
They are thirst to go ever
To the space you are dwelling in,
Rather, they are dying…
But the fear to climb to the top of the hill
And the fear of short time they are bound in
Lead them to try the other ways to reach,
In this journey some glorify knowledge, some claim victory
Until they find hunger in stomach and feel death,
Their tired souls think “there will be other day to talk to Him”,
They fail, they try, they hope…
They are incompletely done,
They fear death…
Now it is your time Buddha, you speak.
